My latest review for local newspaper The Echo.
Luscious Foods in the Byron Industrial & Arts Precinct is a foodie hangout for locals and in the know tourists thanks to the power of a social media!
My usual ‘go to’ dish at Luscious is the vegetarian pizza with pesto, not because I am vegetarian but because when vegetables are cooked with love and care they really can be a thing of gastronomic beauty!
Like so many local eateries here in Byron, the team at Luscious are hugely passionate about making everything from scratch and fresh daily, and woza can you taste this dedication in every single mouthful. Like their classic Israeli style Hummus that is so creamy, light and fully that you want to use your finger to ensure you get every last little bit off the plate (hopefully whilst no one else is watching!).
All Fresh As and Made From Scratch!
You can get your Middle Eastern foodie fix at Luscious for breakfast with a belly nourishing “Harmony Breaky” of poached free range eggs, mushrooms, avocado salsa, goats cheese and your choice of freshly made bread. Oh yes, and don’t forget to ask for a side of their epic housemade Coriander and Chilli sauce it really is all kinds of wonderful.
Friday night grab yourself a table in the courtyard and soak up the live music, good vibes and don’t forget to BYO beer and wine!
The crew at Luscious also do catering YAY! So you can the team to come to your office, home or wedding venue and get authentic Middle Eastern lusciousness.
With plenty of healthy vegetarian options available plus vegan friendly options too!
