Our Taste Byron Bay cooking classes are a fun and informative way to brush up on your cooking skills, work with a seasoned chef, and of course, enjoy some beautiful food.

All our Taste Byron Bay cooking classes will Celebrate. Local. Produce offering you a chance to enjoy fresh seasonal ingredients from the Fig Tree Restaurant garden and a bounty of locally sourced produce from our carefully selected network of talented farmers and producers who share our sustainable food with flavour philosophies, ensuring each cooking class is a celebration of flavours and local produce.

We create a warm and welcoming environment in our cooking classes where you can have a lot of fun and build your kitchen confidence, no matter what your current skill level is. We will introduce you to the art of when and how to season, along with techniques to teach you how to balance and build flavours. There will also be plenty of opportunity throughout the class to chat with our experienced chef Terase Davidson and ask her all those foodie questions.

At the end of our cooking classes there will be time to sit down together around a big shared table to enjoy all the delicious food that was prepared and cooked during the class. It’s a great way to relax and share your cooking experiences, after all great food should be celebrated and shared.
