Food Styling Workshop – Saturday 26th March

I am so super excited to be launching our very first Taste Byron Bay – Food Styling Workshop in collaboration with our good friends at Clems Cargo, in Brunswick Heads, Saturday 26th March.

This workshop is all about exploring and learning ways for you to be able to take better photos on your iPhone. Because let’s face it, it is not always practical to carry around a big camera.  Plus with the technology on iPhones being so darn smart, all you really need is to be armed with a bunch of clever styling tips and you can very easily learn how to start capturing engaging images on your iPhone!

During the workshop, you will learn how to style and curate your own fabulous food photos for Instagram, Facebook and / or your website or blog.  I will be sharing with you lots of useful tips and ideas, that I’ve learnt over the years to create images that pop and engage your audience.  Yep that’s right, you will basically be able to pick my brains for a couple of hours and quickly put into practice your new skills to create and take fabulous images using your iPhone.

Clem’s Cargo is the absolute dream location for our Food Styling Workshop, owners Juliana and Phil always have their iconic shop full of beautiful vintage and retro pieces that are just begging to be discovered, styled and photographed.  During the class you’ll be able to wander through the shop to collect pieces that catch your eye, providing you with plenty of opportunities to work with different props to help you explore and discover a style that works for you.

Location:  Clem’s Cargo, Fingal Lane, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483

Time:        10am – 1.30pm

My love of fresh seasonal produce shared and enjoyed around a big table with family and friends started as a young girl for me, and it's a love that has stayed with me my whole life. I am inspired to write recipes that are produce driven, recipes that enhance and showcase fresh local seasonal produce, created to be shared with family and friends. After all great food should be celebrated!
